Major Activities:

• The Special Program for Food Security and Productivity Enhancement of Small Farmers (Crop Maximisation Project-II or CMP-II) was a five-year project of the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock.
• Formation of Farmers Associations;
• Federated Farmers Associations into Village Organizations (VOs);
• Capacity Building of FA office bearers and VO office bearers;
• Developed Village Development Plans;
• Mobilized and Trained Women Farmers.
• The FAs and VOs received technical guidance, training, and support in input and product sales and marketing from the Agriculture Line Departments and private service providers engaged by the CMP-II
