2003 - 2004



  • Started NRSP program in 3 UCs of the district Sukkur and increased outreach in 7 Union Councils of Five districts.
    • 23 Community Infrastructure Schemes were completed with the funding with PPAF from NRSP in 5 districts.
      • First Eight Hundred (800) Community Organizations (males and females) were formed.
2004 - 2005
We organized the 1st Community Management Training (CMT) for community Organizations (COs) at the Head Office in Sukkur. The training was attended by COs formed in Ghotki, Sukkur, Khairpur, Shikarpur, and Jacobabad districts.
2005 - 2006
Chairman SRSO Mr. Shoaib Sultan Khan and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dr. Muhammad Suleman Shaikh jointly inaugurated the HRD Office at Hamdard Society Sukkur.
2006 - 2007
  • Decentralized field operations and established Regional Offices, headed by RPCs, to operate through the Organization's professional staff, assisted by activists. Previously, SMTs operated from the Head Office
  • Recruited suitable professionals in all fields, especially in social mobilization, rural credit, and enterprise development
2007 - 2008
  • SRSO has also taken up the social mobilization of 90 new villages on behalf of ‘Crop Maximization Project-II’ run by the Federal Government Agriculture Ministry and Sindh Government
  • The PPAF has also commissioned SRSO for two years to support Social Mobilization for universal coverage of district Ghotki.
2008 - 2009
  • First and foremost, a newsletter about recording SRSO activities every month by the MER Section Head Office, Sukkur, edited by Syada Nazia Shah, along with Bakhat Abro, and Sohail Kaleri.
  • The Chief Minister of Sindh Province, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, inaugurated the “Sehat Salamat Card”.
2010 - 2011
  • August 10, 2010: SRSO has signed three LFAs with WFP since under WFP food for flood-affectedees of 9,865 Metric Tonnes for 98,658 households (Kashmore, Shikarpur, Jacobabad, Larkana, Shehdadkot, Sukkur, Khairpur, Ghotki, and Khairpur). .
  • The Chief Minister of Sindh Province, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, inaugurated the “Sehat Salamat Card”.
2011 - 2012
  • SRSO artisan Shahida receiving shield at provincial Conference for home-based workers at Hyderabad .
2013 - 2014
  • Sukkur/ March 26, 2014: SRSO team with management including Chairman SRSO Mr. Shoaib Sultan Khan, Ms. Shereen Mustafa Narejo (Member BOD), and Dr. Rashid Bajwa (Member BoD).
2015 - 2016
  • SRSO organized the 4th Sartyoon Sang crafts festival at Ocean Mall Karachi, displaying the work of around 1,200 women artisans of the northern districts of Sindh. The event was inaugurated by MNA - Dr. Nafeesa Shah
2017
  • The Sartyoon Sang Crafts Exhibition was organized by SRSO at the Dolmen Mall Clifton
  • Karachi. It displayed the work of around 2,000 women artisans from the northern districts of Sindh.
2018
  • The Provincial Launching Ceremony of the GoS-funded EUCBPRP was held at the SRSO Complex, Sukkur. The Chairman PPP, Mr. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, and the Chief Minister of Sindh,, Syed Murad Ali Shah, Ex: CM Syed Qaim Ali Shah inaugurated the Expansion of the Union Council-Based Poverty Reduction Program (UCBPRP) funded by the Government of Sindh
2019
  • The 6th Sartyoon Sang Crafts exhibition was organized by the SRSO-CED at Ocean Mall Karachi with the collaboration of Govt. of Sindh.
2020
  • The contract signing ceremony of the expansion of the Government of Sindh’s Poverty People’s Poverty Reduction Program (PPRP) for districts Ghotki and Sukkur with the Planning and Development Department
2021
  • Launching ceremony of Expanded Peoples’ Poverty Reduction Program and Chairman Pakistan Peoples’ Party, Mr. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, and Syed Murad Ali Shah Chief Minister Sindh, were the chief guests.
2022
  • The closing ceremony of the Pro-people Project Promoting Rights of Older People was organized in Karachi and Mr. Muhammad Sajid Jokhio Minister of Social Welfare, Govt. of Sindh, and Dr. Shereen Mustafa Narejo Technical Advisor SRSO, Syed Moez -u-Deen Country Director HelpAge International, Ms. Marvi Rashidi MPA and Ms. Shamim Mumtaz MPA attended the ceremony.
2023
  • A German Embassy in Pakistan delegation, including Ambassador to Pakistan Mr. Alfred Grannas, Deputy Council Karachi Mr. Andrass Wegner, and Secretary Ms. Julia Klein visited Sindh Rural Support Organization (SRSO) to learn about the organization and its poverty reduction initiatives supported by the Government of Sindh
